When the shadow of discouragement rises upon you, when the turbulence of life takes you in every direction, but forward, take consolation in the Good Shepherd.
The Holy One of Israel, Jesus, has drawn us with bands of love (Hosea 11:4), gathers us under His arms, and when we our feet are helpless, “[carries] [us] in [H]is bosom” (Isaiah 40:11).
Oh Children of the Most High God, our Father and Creator knows our names, and calls us thereby! Stay within the fold of the Almighty, for, “no man is able to pluck [us] out of [the] Father’s hand” (John 10:29).
