“Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole” (Job 5:17, 18).
Often, we are uncomfortable when the trial of correction comes. But be not dismayed. Take courage that God is still working on us. He loves us so much, that He seeks to perfect our character despite our shortcomings. For in correcting us, He makes us whole.
This is the joy of correction.
Let’s pray this prayer today: Father, guide me today to walk in your way. And when I stray, bring me back I pray. Thank you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
