Greetings Friends!
Jesus is coming again. And when He left the disciples to take on His role of High Priest, He gave them a commission to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:19,20).
What powerful last words Jesus speaks to His disciples! As Christians awaiting the second advent we too are admonished to preach the gospel of the kingdom, and the word of God, which includes His law. Often times the law of God is ignored by the masses and charismatic ministers who claim that the law has passed away, (Matthew 24:11). When Jesus himself said that, “‘Whosoever shall break one of the least of these commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven'” (Matthew 5:19). The Sabbath especially is seen as antiquated, though Jesus kept the Sabbath on earth, (Luke 4:16).
So, we have a great work to do. Not only must we develop a genuine relationship with the Lord, but we must take time to spread the Word to all the world, being careful to live as the Word of God dictates. Let us be diligent in our pursuit of perfection. Let us be witnesses.
-Holy Spirit Inspired
-Amen.
