The persons saved in the dregs of earth’s history are said to, “keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). But how do we develop faith?
Romans 10:17 reminds us that, “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So, what or whom is the word of God?
Well, John 1:1, 14, 17 declare that Jesus is the Word of God. He is the One who declares the “eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God” (1 Timothy 1:17). And what is the word that Jesus tells us today?
Revelation 1:1, 2 informs us that “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must quickly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: who bare record of the word of God…” The book of Revelation is the word of God that we must especially study as earth’s history closes. And as we read and hear this prophecy, Christ, the One of whom our faith is founded, is revealed.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 2:7).
