“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God,” (1 Samuel 30:6, KJV).
Sometimes we may feel pressed on every side and destitute of help. Nonetheless, take example from David. He encourages himself in the LORD his God. And he ultimately defeats his enemies by the power of the LORD.
Today, life may be burdening us down. Sometimes we feel that things will never get better or that we are losers or terrible people. However, that is the plot of the enemy. We are, “…fearfully and wonderfully made:, “(Psalm 139:14). And through the blood of Jesus we are somebody. Be encouraged and buoyed up that God has a plan for our lives and even when we fall He will bring us back up again.
Remember we are special in Christ Jesus!
