O Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace and our Friend,
We call upon You this day knowing that we have access to your Most Holy place (Hebrews 4:16). And here in our time of need, we boldly approach Your throne pleading for mercy and grace (ibid). Lord forgive us for our sins and trespasses. Forgive us for taking for granted your mercies and grace. Forgive us for the presumptuous sins we committed, and give us the godly sorrow that leads to true repentance and salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Father, last night, I saw a mother with three toddlers on the street with no where to go, the sight seemed. My heart burned for the little one who, probably too young to know what was going on, was smiling as my mom and I greeted him.
Lord save that mother and her children. Convict the father of your jewels to be more present in their lives. Provide a place for them to dwell. Guide them all to the right resources, and may this be the time when they know that you are God, Jehovah Jireh, and that all their need will be met (Philippians 4:19).
Thank you, Lord, for hearing and answering this prayer according to Your will in Jesus’ name.
